I’m excited about this vision board for so many reasons. One of them being the fact that for most of my life, I only visualized the kind of life I wanted to live. Yet, I was lost to exactly what it took to get there.
I would set goals. I never reached them. I would start. I’d never complete. In so many ways, living that kind of life seemed impossible.
That was before God got ahold of my life and changed my entire perspective. Trust me, it did not happen overnight. It’s taken years. To be truly honest, a major shift didn’t really happen in my perspective until last year. As far as setting goals is concerned.
Can you believe I’m just now starting to see? What that really means is that I’m just now starting to believe.
As my good friend and I spent the couple of days that we purposefully set aside to complete our vision boards, I began to see that everything that I’ve ever dreamed of IS possible. It just takes making the right moves to get there.
Those moves are what I am going to call SEEDS.
This year, as I am led by God as to what steps to take and strategies to operate, I’m considering every move as a seed being planted that will reap the harvest for all that has been envisioned.
Doing this not only serves as an activation of my faith, but it also stands on God’s promise. That as long as the earth remains, there will be seedtime and harvest.
This year is the year that I’m declaring that I will set goals and reach them. I will start and I will finish.
So what about you? Are you looking to reap a different harvest in your life this year? Well, you’ve got to make different moves and look at those moves as seeds that will grow to reap the harvest you desire as they are properly watered along the way.
“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease (Genesis 8:22).””
Erica here! That is literally my favorite way to introduce myself. I’m a firm believer in God who is grateful to be saved by Jesus. I am wife to Carlos and mother to a blended family of six. I am a writer who is also a poet. When you get to truly know me, you’ll find that I spend the most of my time pursuing growth in my walk with God, prioritizing my family, and encouraging other women along the way to seek God’s Truth while obtaining Heaven’s treasure; find hope in their struggles. I’m so glad you’re here!
